MockVault ("we", "us") makes a Photoshop mockup plugin sold at mockvaultps.com. This page is the short, plain-English version of what we collect and what we do with it. We try to collect the minimum we need to make the product work.
What we collect
- Email address. Tied to your purchase and your account dashboard. Used to deliver your license key, magic-link sign-ins, support replies, and occasional product updates (no marketing without consent).
- Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your full card number. Stripe shares only metadata with us (last 4 digits, country, success/failure).
- License + activation data. Your license key, the devices you've activated MockVault on (a stable random ID + a label like "Photoshop 2024 (Windows)"), and timestamps for first/last seen. This lets you manage your active devices from your dashboard.
- Browser analytics. The marketing site uses Meta Pixel for ad attribution. The plugin itself does not.
- First-party usage analytics. The marketing site records pageviews and a few conversion events (CTA clicks, sign-in started/completed) into our own Supabase database. Visitors are counted with a daily-rotating server-side hash of IP + user-agent — no cookies, no localStorage, no cross-site tracking. The hash rotates every 24 hours and cannot be reversed. If you sign in to your account, the events that happen after sign-in are linked to your user ID so we can debug your sessions if you ask for help.
What we don't collect
- Your designs, files, or anything you make in Photoshop — the plugin reads from a public mockup library and writes to your active document. Nothing leaves your machine.
- Cookies on the marketing site beyond what's needed for Meta Pixel attribution. Our first-party analytics is cookieless.
- Anything from your local file system besides the plugin's own settings.
How we use it
- To deliver your license, fulfill your purchase, and let you re-download the plugin from your dashboard.
- To verify your license activation in Photoshop (the plugin pings our server with your license key + device ID).
- To respond to support questions you send us.
- To track ad performance via Meta Pixel — aggregated, not used to identify you individually.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — database + auth + edge functions hosting our backend.
- Cloudflare — hosts the mockup library files.
- Resend — sends transactional email (license key, sign-in links, receipts).
- Netlify — hosts this website.
- Meta — receives ad-related events (page views, checkout starts) via the Pixel.
We do not sell your data, ever.
Your rights
You can:
- Access your data — sign in at mockvaultps.com/account to see your licenses + active devices.
- Delete your account and license records — email support@mockvaultps.com and we'll handle it within 7 days.
- Opt out of analytics — use a browser that blocks Meta Pixel (Brave, Firefox + uBlock, Safari) and we'll never see you. Our first-party analytics also respects the browser
Do Not Tracksignal — if it's on, we don't record any events from your visit.
Data retention
License + activation records are kept for as long as your license is active, plus 12 months for tax/refund records. After that, identifying details are anonymized.
